How to earn Krisflyer miles with hotel bookings cost effectively?

Hi,

I am looking at booking accommodation soon for a few night in Europe and Japan.

Without getting overpriced accommodation, what is the best way to maximise KrisFlyer earning?

So far I think booking via Agoda is the most flexible and still get 2 miles per USD.

Anyone found better option?’

Always , always check what is on offer through booking.com  More often than not I find I can get a hotel with a score above 8 in the price segment I am wanting at a significantly lower price than taking a hotel giving out points ie it is not worth paying the extra for the points.  Booking.com takes all of my credit cards and I earn my points that way.
