How to credit Qantas Points from a family member's flight into my account?

Hey guys,

My mum is going on a trip to Europe and does NOT have a frequent flyer membership. She has said she is happy for me to take the points from her trip. Problem here is apparently if the name on the frequent flyer doesn’t match on the boarding pass then the points wont land on my account. My goal here is to try claim her points on my QFF membership.

Does any one have any advice on how I can get this done?

Just to add minimum qantas points that can be transferred over is 5000.

You’ll have to get your mum to sign up as a Qantas frequent flyer and then do a family transfer for the frequent flyer points. The status credits can’t be transferred and they will stay in her account.
