I was/am hoping to redeem Krisflyer miles for business class seats on one or more Turkish Airlines routes but I can’t find any award seat availability on these routes using the Singapore Airlines site or United (looking out right up to end of booking windows). Has anyone actually booked a Turkish Airlines seat using star alliance partner points (e.g. / especially Krisflyer)? Is this a visibility problem or do they not offer any/many award seats to Star Alliance partners?

I booked two business class seats on a Turkish Airlines flight using KrisFlyer points less than three months ago, for September 2023. The flight is from Istanbul to Budapest and I booked it via the Singapore Airlines website using KrisFlyer miles (for 33500 points and USD 58 per seat).
I assume that when you’re trying to search, you’re selecting “Star Alliance” in the results page?
I’ve just had a quick look and there’s plenty of availability on that route via the Singapore Airlines website (eg. for January 4, 2024 where there’s availability on both flights that day).
Are you after a specific route or routes, or are you just wanting to enjoy the legendary Turkish Airlines lounge and inflight experience?

Thanks @sixtyeight - that gives me some confidence the availability just doesn’t exist on the routes I was looking for, but I shouldn’t assume that all routes are unavailable. In particular I was trying to find award seats Denpasar to Istanbul direct (a route only they operate) rather than going via Singapore.
I have looked on Singapore but unable to find how to book a flight with Turkish Airlines using points. The site request I download the redemption form but I would prefer to book online.
Are you able to provlde the link you used to make your booking ?
