How to book award flights between the Bahamas and America using Qantas or Virgin points?

Hi All,

I’m looking at booking flights between Bahamas and mainland USA (specifically Nassau to Washington DC). When i try to look at the flights via QF and VA website, they don’t give me the option to enter in Bahamas/Nassau as a location.

I can see availability of award flights via American Airlines and Delta. Is it a matter of calling QF or VA to book these flights directly, or am i out of luck.
