So we’ve managed to accumulate 400k Velocity points but are now puzzled as to what to do with them. We want a 2-3 week holiday, preferably over Christmas 2018 to Jan 19.
We’re open to ideas, but mainly looking at best value and the important part, likelihood of getting seats. It all seems so freaking hard to figure out and all i look out say no flights/seats.
Love some help.
It would help if we new where you are flying from and where you want to go.
To be honest, happy to consider anywhere a family would have fun. Fuji, Hawaii, Asia etc
Flying from melbourne.
I just did a dummy booking for Bali and came up with all reward seats sold out. That is because only limited number of seats are allocated during peak demand periods and they would have been snapped up within days if not hours of release.
Did you try having a look at Singapore from Melbourne, Sydney or Brisbane?
If you are looking at business class, you may have to travel in groups of 2.
If you are really desperate, you could transfer to Krisflyer (1.35:1 reduction) to access better availability.
