How often does Virgin Australia points sale occur?

Late last year, Virgin Australia offered up to 40% off points purchases which has now finished and has reverted to the normal prices. Does anyone know how often they offer this deal…? TIA.

This Point Hacks article is about the 40% off purchases sale you are referring to, and it also states that a similar (not identical) promotion occurred in April 2022.

There is no guarantee that something similar will happen in April 2023, but here’s hoping!
