Post-Covid, how lenient is Velocity in helping their flyers maintain a status? Prior to Covid, I was a long-term Platinum member; I even had one year where I was short perhaps 80 SCs and Velocity still retained my Platinum status. Fast-forward to the Present, and I’m @ 615 SCs which is well short of retaining Status by 30th June 
Velocity has been known to be lenient to those who might be missing a few Status Credits. You were lucky to have retained with 80 SC short! Unfortunately, I really can’t see Velocity comping another year of status when you’re still 25% short of the goal – that’s just too far of a stretch.
If you want to plead your case (maybe you’ve earned a lot of excess SC in prior years and/or you have a lot of future bookings coming up in July/August), then you could shoot off an email to platinum@velocityfrequentflyer.com.au. But as they say, hope for the best and expect the worst. As a consolation, you should get a soft-landing to Gold
