How early can you bag drop for Qantas Sydney to San Francisco 9pm flight?

Hi there, travelling to the USA in August. Want to spend some time in the lounges at Sydney T1 prior to departure as coming in on a domestic Virgin flight about 1500hrs. Anyone know what is the maximum time before departure we can drop our bags at T1 for the 2125hrs SYD-SFO flight with Qantas?
I’ve Googled it and the answers range from 4 hours, 6 hours to anytime that day!

As long as the check-in counter is open, you should be able to check in and bag drop for your flight 24 hours before departure!
