How do I set my Cathay booking to earn Asia Miles or Qantas Points?

Hi

I am Gold FF Qantas (thus oneworld Saphire) and also a member of the Asia Miles program.

When flying Cathay Pacific (bought directly through Cathay) do I get points and status credits on BOTH programs??

Or do I nominate which one?

how do they know how to allocate??

You only earn in one program. You find out how much uou will earn. You need find out your ticket type or fare code and will need to check qantas website and asia miles to see how much each program will award you for the flight. Then you can decide which program to credit

Hi Rodney,

You’ll only earn miles/points with one program, not both, regardless of how you book. This is based on the frequent flyer number you put in the booking (either Asia Miles or Qantas Frequent Flyer).
