How can I utilise Virgin Atlantic miles in Australia?

Hi,

having moved to OZ and never getting round to using my Virgin-atlantic miles i’m look for recommendations and ideas to use 180k virgin atlantic miles - either spend here - or somehow get them into QFF or Velocity - i was trying to get 2 x upperclass tix from LON - NY but never got there - and now VA have moved the bar and more miles are needed for redemption - hey ho.

I am not familiar with Virgin Atlantic. A quick Google search did pull up a 2014 article. Hope the advice is still current.
