My husband and I were stranded in YQB (Quebec City) for 13 hours in September, as flight after flight with AC to New York’s LGA got cancelled because of bad weather. We had paid for fully flexible business class flights, so I expected a full refund when we had to cancel and rebook with UA. They eventually offered us a CAD300 credit, to be used within 3 years - but we won’t be able to use that. Since then, Air Canada has simply ignored our emails, even though I sent them proof of our “fully flexible” tickets. Is there any avenue I can pursue to obtain our refund? Thanks, Paul.
Hopefully, you have paid using a credit card. If they are not playing ball, request a chargeback with your credit card.
