So it seems NAB has taken over a bunch of credit cards and deleted most of them in favour of having one MyCard.
Has pointhacks done an article on all the changes yet?
Seems like another hurdle to churning and building points. ![]()

Late reply as I couldnât find anything earlier.
Based on my quick google search, it sounds like a messy new program.
Ollie,
I used to repeatedly churn the âCiti Rewards Velocityâ card for Velocity points, and will now repeatedly churn itâs replacement the âMyCard Rewardsâ card. The âMyCard Rewardsâ card comes with 60,000 Velocity Points on a $5,000 spend and these cards have always been a go-to card to churn over, and over, and over. Because there is no exclusion period!!! And no waiting for the old card to be removed from your Experian record either to re-apply after cancelling the last one, because they already know you cancelled the old card themselves the moment you close it! I meet the minimum spend, get the points, cancel the card - and then literally re-apply a day or two later after cancelling it - and get exactly the same card again. I had the old âCiti Rewards Velocityâ card 9 times, one immediately after the other, accumulating 720,000 Velocity points in the process (it used to offer up to 110,000 points but now itâs 60,000), and Iâve now presently got the âMyCard Rewardsâ card (which I applied for and got literally a day or two after cancelling my previous Citi Rewards card) and am just awaiting another 60,000 Velocity points - and then I will just continue to rinse and repeat. Also it can be used for government spend to meet the minimum spend so just paying rates, rego etc of family members easily meets the spend. MyCard is just as easy to immediately get the same card, straight after cancelling exactly the same card, no questions asked. Itâs also an easy card to get approved for if youâve already got another couple of cards at the same time, because itâs only a $2,000 credit limit! And from my experience NAB is one of the easiest credit providers to get approved for as well.
