Does linking a MyCard to PayPal, and then making a Paypal payment count as an eligible purchase towards the minimum spend for sign up bonus?

Hi brains trust. I linked my MyCard Premier Qantas card to my PayPal, and then I made a PayPal purchase (an overseas rail ticket). Does that PayPal purchase ($960) count as an eligible purchase towards the minimum spend ($6,000) to earn the 70,000 sign up bonus points on this card?

It should. Did the transaction earned points? If yes, it should be a good proof that it is eligible.
