Does a Qatar business award seat get lounge access?

Hi,

I plan to fly from Sinagpore to Rome using a Velocity business
Class award.
Have there been any issues with lounge access in Singapore and
Doha?
Ive read thay Qatar offer a Business “lite” fare which doesn’t
Include lounge access. Hopefully the award seat isn’t in the
“Lite” class.
Any info would be helpfull.

I can confirm that Qatar Business class awards do give you lounge access.

I have flown Qatar business class using points several times myself and I have received lounge access every time: award flights are not in the “Lite” class.

A few observations from what you said. It is quite difficult to get award seats around Christmas, not impossible though. I assume that you wish to use Velocity points for the booking. Lounge access depends on the airline and class that you are traveling in. So if the award ticket is on SQ (with a SQ flight number) and in business class, you will get access to the SilverKris lounge at Changi airport in Singapore.
