Do you earn Velocity status credits on a Singapore Airlines flight redeemed with Krisflyer miles?

Hi. I’m flying to Europe next June. I have enough Velocity points to transfer to Krisflyer points to get us 2 economy flights there and business class on the way home. I’m currently gold class in Velocity. My question is will I earn Velocity status credits flying SQ code flights booked with KF points? Thanks

You generally will not earn status points on flights booked with points.
