Do you earn Velocity points when using points plus pay on Velocity reward bookings?

If you use the points plus pay option in Velocity reward flight bookings, do you still earn miles when you fly, or are these ineligible for earn?

If you book a Reward Seat: no, you will not earn any Velocity points or Status Credits.
If you book an “Any Seat” booking, yes, you will earn Velocity points and Status Credits – at the cost of getting very, very low value from your points.
