No - points tickets and industry discounted fares aren’t eligible for status earn even in your situation where you’ve purchased your fare using miles through another carriers program.
The only exception to this rule is where you do any anyseat redemption using your qff points, but in that scenario your points devalue massively so it never really represents good value.
