Do expiring Visa rewards get extended when transferred to Velocity?

Hi all,

I have over 300,000 visa rewards. 100,000 expires end of this year. We (family of 4) are planning a trip to Bali and Greece this year.

My question:

Do expiring rewards get extension when transferred to Velocity?

Yes. But be mindful that Velocity points too expire if there is no activity for 2 years. Shouldnt happen for most ppl as something as simple as filling up at BP and swiping your Velocity card re-sets the 2 year clock.
