Can you use Velocity Global Wallet to deposit into betting websites and earn points?

Hi all,

Does anyone know whether you could use the velocity prepaid card to deposit funds on betting websites and, if so, would you earn points from those deposits?

Would it be treated simply as an online transaction?

 WILL NOT earn points for purchases that are not Qualifying Purchases. The
following are NOT Qualifying Purchases:

  • payments made to the Australian Taxation Office or other national or local
    Australian tax authorities;
  • other kinds of debit transactions such as cash withdrawals, gambling
    transactions, quasi cash transactions (such as money orders, travellers’
    cheques and foreign currencies in cash), debits for fees and charges,
    transfers between Wallets or adjustment transactions.
