Can you use Qantas flight credit for redemptions flight taxes/surcharges?

Does anyone know if I can use Qantas flight credit to pay the tax component of a points sale? It’s rtw so the taxes are substantial.

From the website, they can’t be used for RTW bookings unfortunately.
