Can you use Alaska Miles to get from Australia to Europe?

Hi,

Is there a way you can use Alaska miles to fly Aus to Europe?

My thinking is maybe you can take a Cathay flight to Hong Kong which the site allows, then change your region (?) so you can take a Cathay (or other) flight from Hong Kong to Europe?

In particular I’m trying to get from Melb to London next week (Feb 7/8/9), business class.

Yes, you should be able to do this with 2 redemptions.

All the best with finding availability under such short notice. Cathay is known to release unsold seats closer to departure date.
