It’s impossible to find Qatar seats anywhere when booking a RTW Oneworld seat. Whenever I put Doha into a request, the itinerary is rejected and I have to start again. It’s like Qatar Airways doesn’t exist. Any thoughts? It was easy booking Qatar when last I did this.

Two issues here:
- The Qantas website doesn’t permit starting with Doha as the origin because they can’t process bookings in their local currency. You can get around this by searching with the multi-city booking website and putting in a route like Sydney to Melbourne in the first leg and then the second leg your flight originating from Doha.
- Qatar has been playing favourites with its partners, preferring to make business availability open to Virgin Velocity members earlier than Qantas. What you will find is that at most 4 months ahead is what you can find on Qantas for Qatar seats.
