Can you redeem Asia Miles for Jetstar Japan?

Here is the list of airlines that you can use Asia Miles to redeem flights on. As you can see, none of the JetStar airlines are on it. It looks like you’re out of luck.

Jetstar redemptions are a exclusive feature for the Qantas Frequent FLyer program since Qantas is the major stakeholder in Jetstar. You can however redeem Asia Miles for travel on Japan Airlines which is a Oneworld partner, so also redeemable through Qantas. If looking for domestic travel in Japan, Japan Airlines will only release awards about 2 months in advance. You can redeem for a economy ticket and upgrade at check in (if available) to business for $10 or first for $80 AUD.
