Can you only use velocity points for flights departing from Australia?

I have been trying to look up flights from either Singapore to London return in business (and pay for economy for the shorter leg sing > Sydney… Or similar concept with Abu Dhabi.

However no results seem to come back unless i have a flight leaving from AU… just wanted to confirm.

Hi danmuli,

You can definitely use Vel points for flights outside of Australia. Personally, I have used it for Intra-USA and USA-Japan.

VFF award availability has disappeared quite substantially over the last few months. Hopefully, things does improve in the near future.
