Can you lock in the current reduced Qantas RTW award rates despite make changes after?

is this possible? I have no time to do it all now but need to get from Australia to the UK very soon…

is this possible? I know you pay 5,000 points each time for changes to it, that OK

I am not across the T&Cs but I would be 95% sure, even if you managed to book any RTW itinerary before the point costs change, making any itinerary changes after the point costs change would mean you have to pay for the point costs increase.

TLDR: it won’t work to lock in the current reduced rates.

As it would involve reissuing of the ticket, I’ll be surprised if they don’t charge you the new rate.
