Can I make retrospective claim of Air New Zealand flights to Qantas or Velocity program?

Hi Point Hacks, I jus came back from NZ using Air NZ and I wanted to see if:

  1. I can retrospectively claim those points

  2. Do they association with Virgin or Qantas?

They are the only two loyalty programs I have

Air NZ are aligned with Virgin Australia but not with Qantas. You can claim the points retrospectively for both NZ and Virgin, provided you were a member of the program at the time you actually flew the flights in question, and provided it’s not more than 90 days since you flew.
