I purchased 2 economy tickets with Qatar Airways for myself and my wife travelling from Sydney to Edinburgh return.
I have not joined their FF club because my FF club is Kris Flyer. Should I join the Qatar FF and is there anyway that I would be allowed to transfer those points to Kris Flyer.

Qatar is part of One World and Singapore, Star Alliance. And although sometimes airlines have some additonal partners outside of their network, unfortunately, Singapore Airlines is not one of them. So you wont be able to credit your Qatar flights to SQ.
Qantas partnes with Qatar as a fellow member of One World, the other good option for us in Australia is Cathay Pacific’s Asia Miles program. You could also credit the flights to Malaysia Airlines Enrich program, although their redemptions are not worth it, with the devaluation Malaysia did last year.
