Can I book Air Canada using Virgin points via the website?

Hello all, first time poster.

I am looking at booking some business class fares to Halifax, Nova Scotia on Air Canada for July 2023. My question is how can I book using Velocity points. There is no option to select Halifax as the final destination like there is when flying to London, Paris or Dublin. Do I need to input as a multi-city or do I need to process each leg individually. Virgin have assured me it can be done online and will cost from 138,000 points per person each way, yet I can’t seem to get it to work? Is it something that needs the assistance from a virgin customer service rep? Any help would be much appreciated.

When in doubt, just book over the phone. Do check availability on your desired flights individually first. That will make the rep’s job much easier if you just tell them the exact flights you want on the dates that you want.
Air Canada should be fully bookable by Velocity now so shouldn’t be a problem as long as the itinerary works for you. (Just saw the exception for Brisbane to Vancouver)
