hi, ive heard you can maximise your points by booking your interantional part of the trip via another port. Ie I am thinking about flying to New York but would like to have a layover for a few days in San Fran first. Can this be done or is it considered 2 different trips ( one being International - syd to san fran and one domestic san fran to NYC ). Any guidance here would be great
You can use the Multicity option when searching Classic Reward seats. Points cost may be slightly different compared with layover.
