Can Australians apply and hold a Marriott Bonvoy credit card ? Marriott elite nights required!

Hi,

I’m approx 50 Marriott Bonvoy elite nights short of Platinum lifetime. I know that with select Marriott Bonvoy credit cards they come with 15 - 25 elite nights attached. Assuming there is no such Bonvoy/Amex credit card in Australia, any other ideas on how I can rack up elite nights before Marriott shifts the goal posts? Cheers

Hi,

Yes, there are no Marriott affiliated credit cards in Australia. You will have to look at US cards for this. There are a few hoops to jump through to get your first US card but there are some documented ways shared on the internet. If you are interested, I’m sure a Google search would bring it up for reading.
