Business Class tickets for two - best ways to book one ticket with Qantas points and one with cash?

Hi,

I am wondering the best way to book 2 Business Class tickets to Northern Europe using Qantas points for one ticket and paying cash for the other. My thinking is find the points ticket first because of availability.

Would appreciate any recommendations.

Hi,

You are correct. Find availability of Business Reward seat 1st. Buying a revenue tickets is much ‘easier’-> availability in generally is not an issue.

If you find plenty of dates with Business Reward available, you can then see which dates have the cheapest revenue tickets.
