Best Star Alliance program to credit points from flights on Swiss and Singapore Airlines?

Hi
My wife & I live are aussies living in Dubai. We have a series of long haul business class flights coming up flying Swiss & Singapore Airlines. Looking the best star alliance FFP to use to accumulate points in for later use on flights out of Dubai or AbuDhabi regionally or into Europe.
Swiss are part of the Lufthansa group but I don’t know much about their program. Already a Krisflyer member but found that their point expire quickly.
Any suggestions ?
