Asia Miles 50% hotel transfer bonus - Is the promotion worth it for Qantas flights?

Hi,

I have over 100k Radisson Points and over 150k Hilton points that I’m unlike to ever use for hotel nights. Is it worthwhile taking up the current Asia Miles Hotel Transfer which is providing 50% extra Asia Miles points than normal?

The intended use is QF flights (most likely to Japan).

Hi,

If you really aren’t going to use the hotel points, transferring during promotion periods might be your best option.

However, it seems that your hotel points would get you 37500 Asia Miles only. From memory, it costs 45000 Asia Miles Brisbane-Hong Kong in business class one way (for example).

Personally, I would use the hotel points for hotel stays but that is me. What suit me might not suit everyone.
