Hi all - I am arriving at LAX in January on Air NZ (Premium Economy and Star Alliance Gold) and an Australian passport. I wonder if anyone knows of some way of easing the pain of US border control. I would be willing to pay quite a few hundred dollars to get to the front of the queue!

When i was there recently ( August ) on an Aussie passport i was through in around half an hour i thought it was fairly quick and straight forward.

I use tripit to look after travel plans. That (paid version) website is offering a 4 month trial. Clear Me seems to be available at LAX.
There are some online reviews I only quickly read on google. Seem positive.
