Hello! I have been visiting the site occasionally for points news for a couple of years. I understand that in the past there has been a meetup for non-staff members to learn and discuss points in real life. Does this still happen or is there one being organised?

I’d probably suggest that the PointHacks Community page is probably not the most conducive for organising a meetup of like minded people.
Facebook groups might be a “better” alternative for these events.
