Anyone know of Mobile phone plans that award Freq flyer points?
There is a partnership between Virgin Mobile and Velocity but Virgin Mobile is being phased out I think so points earn stops at the end of this month.
Flybuys partners with Optus and they often offer plans that give you large amounts of bonus points (which can be converted to Velocity points) for signing up. However, those are sign-up bonuses rather than points for ongoing spending.
The other thing is that whenever I receive one of those emails from FlyBuys and I actually look into the price and what’s being offered, it never seems to be worth it. On the other hand, your usage/needs may be different from mine.
