Are British Airways Avios Reward seats available to be added to RTW ticket?

Hi all,

I am super excited to be departing on my Qantas
/one world RTW trip in 2 months time (all thanks to this website/community).
I would like to change one of my flights to another day. When I search Qantas there are no reward seats available, but on BA Avios there are plenty of one world Avios seats available.

Question - will these seats (found via Avios search) be available if I call up and change my flights or not?

Are these BA flights? Some (most) airline programs reserve some award seats for their own members.

You can check by search with a third oneworld member like American Airlines or Cathay Pacific to see whether the BA seat is available to all OneWorld members. If they are, then it gives you confidence that Qantas should see them too. Then you can call up and try your luck.

Note: Remember if you muck around with your ticketed OneWorld RTW itinerary, make sure they ticket the new itinerary properly (preferably whilst you remain on the line). There used to be nightmare stories of them not ticketed properly in the past. Hopefully, that issue is all in the past.
