Anyone have experiences of using Lifemiles to book Singapore Airlines or Lufthansa?

hi,

has anyone had any experience in booking first class flights from sydney to any destination in europe and vice versa using lifemiles. I’ve previously booked first with thai airlines but can never find any availabilty with singapore or lufthansa. If anyone can suggest a possible way that would be great.

To my knowledge both Singapore Airlines and Lufthansa block most award space for Star Alliance partners like Lifemiles, so yes, this would be tough to find.
