Any recommendations on which airline to redeem award flights from Brisbane to Colombo using Amex MR points?

Hi everyone,

I went to book my award flight to Colombo business class with Singapore Airlines and I have left it too late and they are all waitlisted.

Does anyone have any other recommendations for who I could fly with to Colombo either Business or First? I have AMEX points to transfer across so I can be flexible.

Check out awardace.com.

Transferring to SPG then to JMB or AMC seems to be the way to go. However, I would suggest checking award availability before transferring.

For example, 160k Amex points ->80k SPG points-> 100k JMB or AMC points.

In comparison, it costs 152k Krisflyer points to fly Singapore Airlines.
