I’m in the process of buying AAdvantage Miles for a couple of flight redemptions, hoping to maximise on the current promotion and successfully purchased a few days ago on American Express. However, my partner attempted miles purchase on Visa credit card and the miles have not been awarded. Anyone else experienced similar issues? How long should it take? Every time I’ve purchased, the miles have arrived in my account in a matter of minutes.

Not sure whether your question has already been resolved by now.
I have bought AA miles before and usually with Amex because of the higher point earn rate. Miles are usually in my account shortly after.
