Had a very unsatisfactory experience in the Air New Zealand lounge (actually flying Thai J class to Bangkok). I was given the most dismal of excuses “we actually keep to Auckland time” (still trying to figure out the relevance of this).
Is this the usual state of affairs for Air NZ lounge? If so, it reflects poorly on Thai, who share the lounge with them.
