How to book business class flights from Sydney to London with 450k Amex points?

I have 450k Anex Points which i woukd like to use to book 2 x business flights Sydney to London but most awards require over 1 million po
ints. Please help :woman_facepalming:

Please have a read of this response on “anytime seats”.

I presume you are after Qantas reward seats and you hold an Amex Platinum card? If so, you have other airline programs to transfer to too. You have roughly enough points to transfer to Krisflyer and fly one way business class for two (SYD-SIN-LHR).

Thank you for responding thats great. I havectried looking but nothing available. If i haven’t transferred them to Krisflyer will reward options not show up as there is nothing on offer for a September departure around the dates i am flying. Im concerned im not searching correctly.

You don’t need Krisflyer miles to search for award seats

Try other Australian cities as departure points or Europe cities as arrival points. Usually, the bottle neck is the flight in and out of Australia.

E.g. i saw some availability out of MEL in mid Sep
